As far as Xiao Ran knew, Getter required three people to fully bring out all of its performance. If such a low-end machine was merely Elite Pilot-class, Xiao Ran did not know whether it required at least one Elite Pilot to operate it, or whether three ordinary pilots could fully unleash its performance.
If it was the latter, then this Elite-class Getter would be somewhat useful to ordinary participants who had just entered Prometheus. But it meant little to Xiao Ran and his group. With their current team setup, everyone had their own role. Having three people pilot one machine would severely weaken their combat strength.
If this Getter had been above Elite-class—an Epic-level or Legend-class machine—then it would have held great value for Xiao Ran. Otherwise, even if he bought it, upgrading its class would probably require Getter Ray energy. Xiao Ran had absolutely no idea where he could find something like that for the upgrade.
But looking at it from another angle, Getter's trinity fighter combination structure could be quite helpful from a technical standpoint. After all, Variable Fighters were the true mainstay in the Fleet World. If this Getter could give the Technicians from the three worlds more inspiration and allow them to develop Variable Fighters that could also combine, then that might actually be rather interesting.
Putting aside the issue of Getter Ray, the important thing was whether, after understanding the series of technologies related to Getter, they could use Real Robot technology to create similar imitations. Of course, Xiao Ran did not expect the replicas to possess Getter's capabilities, but with the Real Robot technology they currently possessed combined with Getter technology, any Getter replicas they created certainly would not be bad.
The key was that Xiao Ran felt Getter's transformations were extremely unreasonable. Three
