In New Western Calendar 179, the third meteor, also known as the Giant Unidentified Object, Meteor 3, crashed into Earth and landed in the Maxus Islands.
In New Western Calendar 180, Bian Zoldak submitted a report on the investigation's progress to the EOT Special Deliberation Agency, proposing that Meteor 3 was a product of an Outer Universe Civilization, containing countless advanced technologies and unknown substances. He regarded Meteor 3 as an early sign of an alien invasion of Earth.
In New Western Calendar 181, Doctor Bian proposed in his third investigation progress report that the Gravity Control Method obtained through researching EOT Technology should be used to resist alien aggression. However, the EOT Special Review Association believed that the Earth Sphere's current military strength could not defeat the forces of an Outer Universe Civilization, and thus proposed a plan to flee Earth. Bian opposed the proposal on the grounds that "humanity has nowhere to run," and called for total resistance against an alien invasion.
That same year, an Exploration Fleet formed by the Earth Federation and Satellite Integration set sail. Composed of current warships, exploration vessels, and gigantic ecological habitats converted from Colony Satellites, it officially departed Earth.
In New Western Calendar 183, all contact with the Exploration Fleet was lost.
These were the most important things Xiao Ran had found in those records. Yet judging from the Exploration Fleet described in them, it was completely different from the fleet currently heading toward Earth under Xiao Ran's command. The fleet established back then had nothing called MS or PT.
