Chapter 1271: Introduction
This newly manufactured unit had been created by combining the technologies of DC, the Burning Legion, and the Fury. Even its appearance bore characteristics of all three factions, though Luo had clearly taken the lead in its exterior design. Perhaps because it incorporated technology from all three sides, it lacked the hard, angular lines of an ordinary Gundam and had a much stronger sense of smooth curves.
Thanks to its considerable size, the unit looked far simpler than the previous Darkness Sky. Compared to its overall frame, it was much slimmer, with none of the enormous shoulder cannons or backpack. In their place were a pair of blood-red wings folded behind it. Purple circular crystals were embedded in its chest, knees, and shoulders, though their purpose was still unknown.
It held special weapons that could originally switch between sword and cannon forms. However, their blades were made of green translucent material like a GN Sword, though each blade had only one edge. There was more than one such weapon—one in each hand—and it was obvious that the two could be combined to unleash a more powerful attack.
Xiao Ran turned to Luo, one brow rising slightly. "This is my new unit?"
"Mm." Luo nodded. "It's undergoing final adjustments now. It won't be long before you can conduct an actual test."
Xiao Ran looked at the massive unit ahead, then turned to the Emperor Mecha Giga-Thine, which had been almost completely dismantled. "Why do these two units feel somewhat similar in style?"
"They only look similar. We made major changes to the exterior. The armor and internal structure are completely different; you could say they have nothing in common. The head uses the Gundam style you like. It just has a few Fury elements in its design style."
