The sudden assault by the Steel and Black Gold battleships immediately threw the forces surrounding Hades Island, especially those in the current sector, into some confusion. But the numerous units launched from the two warships—Zengar's Bushin Guren, Elsam's Huckebein, Gutsy and White Knight from the ATX Squad, and many others—turned the four units from the two ships into an army in a very short time, launching an attack on Hades Island.
The appearance of this force caused Hades Island's Defense Force to begin converging on the area. A glance showed the sky filled with Rebel Army units either rushing over or already engaged in battle. The artillery Armament Units along Hades Island's coastline also opened fire fiercely. For a time, beams and live rounds streaked everywhere through the sky, along with brilliant explosions from units struck by attacks.
The defensive forces on Hades Island were not composed solely of the Rebel Army. They were practically a mixed force so disorderly it could not be covered for: Wraiths once used by the Federation, TDs once used by DC, and all kinds of Armament Units belonging to neither the Federation nor DC. There were also new models that should have belonged to the Shadow Mirror Unit, seemingly called Savior ASH, along with Shadow Mirror Unit special machines.
The defensive forces on Hades Island outnumbered the combined strength of the Steel and Black Gold by several times, perhaps even dozens of times. This was a completely unequal battle from the very beginning, one that required every bit of strength the two warships possessed.
