Xiao Ran invited the four to sit with a smile. After giving them a cold nod, El-Elf took the initiative to leave the room, as though making more space for them. Saki Maski stood behind Xiao Ran with a faint smile as well, showing no intention of speaking.
"Although I guessed someone would come looking for me, I didn't expect all four of you to come together." Xiao Ran smiled as he spoke, sitting down on the only bed available. "I'm borrowing this place, so it's small and doesn't have much in it. Please forgive the poor accommodations. If you ever get the chance to visit the Burning Legion, I'll be sure to entertain you properly."
Tetsuya and Ryoma said nothing. Tetsuya seemed lost in thought, while Ryoma merely stared fixedly at Xiao Ran with his large eyes. Wilt gave an unconcerned smile at Xiao Ran's words, but Kim Kido shook his head with a smile and said, "It's nothing. We came to visit so abruptly because we have some questions we'd like to ask Mr. Xiao Ran."
"As it happens, I have a few things I'd like to learn from all of you as well." Xiao Ran waved his hand, then gestured for them to continue. "But if you have questions, please ask."
Kim Kido and Wilt exchanged looks, then glanced at the silent Ryoma and Tetsuya. Kim Kido spoke first. "We heard from Captain Okita that Mr. Xiao Ran seems to know quite a bit about our mecha, especially when you mentioned Newtypes, Mental Power Frames, and Huckebein. Do such mecha exist in your world as well?"
"As for that..." Xiao Ran deliberately paused, then nodded. "Gundams do exist. I alone possess many kinds of mecha that can be called Gundams. There are Gundams piloted by Newtypes
