Xiao Ran and the others had no normal Main Mission in this world. By this point, they had only triggered a Side Mission that had yet to be truly completed. Whether it was the Western Calendar World, the New Chronology World, or this Universal Century, Xiao Ran and his group had no real need to do anything for any of these three worlds.
However, Xiao Ran needed to bind the protagonist teams of this world to his own chariot and bring them under his control. Therefore, when it came to the plight of the three worlds, they could only stand with the protagonists, work together to resolve the problems facing all three worlds, and save them from destruction.
Perhaps it was like having to give something in return after gaining something. Xiao Ran had helped the protagonist teams, but he also had to personally consider every problem they faced. He had to think a step further and lead the protagonist teams in solving those problems one by one before he could earn their true trust and support.
But even without all that, given Xiao Ran's personality, he truly could not stand by and watch the current state of the three Earths. The lack of a mission did not matter to him. He was simply acting according to his true thoughts: to contribute whatever strength he could for the sake of the three Earths.
Xiao Ran was not a good person. He would stop at nothing to achieve his goals, and even creating slaughter did not seem in the least improper to him. Yet neither was he a bad person. To protect ordinary people, he could face powerful enemies head-on. All he wanted was the stability and peace before his eyes. Every stone blocking his path would be smashed to pieces.
