After Xiao Ran divided up the Victory Fleet, Danner's Son and Ptolemy hurriedly completed their preparations and descended from space. Carrying the Super Robots and their pilots from the Victory Fleet, they joined up with the Ra Cailum, which had remained on Earth, and immediately headed toward the Far East.
In space, the Nadeshiko, N-Akama, and Yamato also began their operation to retake or destroy the Colony Satellite Laser after their crews had been fully assembled. People from Axis would also assist them with the mission.
The rest, aboard the Burning Legion, Eternal, and Arkham, also began heading for the Federation Army Commander-in-Chief Headquarters once their preparations were complete. Along the way, they rendezvoused with Luo, Basak, and Zechs, who had ascended into space from Earth. They waited for reinforcements from the Unified side, ready to serve as the sharp point that would utterly tear through every layer of defense around the Federal Army's headquarters.
After occupying Daka, Xiao Ran left the city for the first time. Together with Saki, he piloted his unit and met up with the Ra Cailum, Ptolemy, and Danner's Son midway.
The moment he entered the Ra Cailum's bridge, Xiao Ran sat down in the captain's seat that had originally belonged to Bright. Bright should have been close to reaching Daka City by then, providing command support for the three fronts fighting on Earth and in space, so he was not aboard the Ra Cailum. With Xiao Ran's arrival, he naturally became the ship's commander.
Xiao Ran was not particularly familiar with the Ra Cailum's bridge crew. At most, he knew who they were. On the other hand, the bridge crew knew Xiao Ran quite well, and upon seeing him, they all saluted in his direction.
