Half an hour later, the entire Victory Fleet had assembled before the Space Gate. All mobile units and drones patrolled around the small fleet formed by several warships. Not far from the Victory Fleet, the fully deployed Gamillas forces, capable of bringing their most powerful firepower to bear against the Victory Fleet, had tightly surrounded the Space Gate. Yet the mere presence of a single unit, nearly as large as a small warship, standing before the Gamillas forces had already placed enormous pressure on them.
Space Fighters darted everywhere, while small transport ships and shuttlecraft approached from all directions, heading for the Space Gate's control center. The captains and first officers from most of the Gamillas warships sat aboard those small transports and shuttlecraft, all summoned by Misera to gather at the control center.
The so-called control center was not merely a single room, but a massive space structure. Like a small Colony Satellite, it stood beside the enormous ring housing the Space Gate.
Watching the Gamillas transports and small shuttlecraft constantly coming and going, along with the dense mass of warships and Space Fighters surrounding them, many in the Victory Fleet felt immense pressure as well. If the battle had continued at its previous pace, they might not have felt this way. But Gamillas had now been given more time, turning a situation where few warships could attack the Victory Fleet into one where nearly half the Gamillas warships could potentially strike them directly.
Even so, if they had been in battle, they could have cast all that aside and focused entirely on fighting. It was precisely this standoff, this encirclement, this calm, that filled everyone with the heavy sense of an approaching storm.
