After observing for a while, Xiao Ran had completely grasped the current chaotic situation. The Gamillas military had not simply split into two sides fighting a civil war. Instead, it had roughly divided into four different factions. Three of them were fighting one another amid mutual distrust, while the last faction was also fighting, but only to clear a path and withdraw completely from the melee.
The first faction consisted of those who had joined—or rather, been controlled by—the Impact Legion. This group accounted for roughly two-fifths of the Gamillas fleet. This group made up roughly one-fifth of all the Gamillas forces present.
The third group acted much like the second, but they did not care much whether Iskandar was under attack. Nor were they fighting on the front lines against the first faction and the Impact Legion. They were merely following some order or objective to eliminate the traitors belonging to the first faction. They made up about half of three-fifths of the Gamillas forces.
The final group was made up of the Gamillas warships that had no desire to join
