Chapter 1958: Giant Whale
Following Xiao Ran out of the hangar and onto the beach, Katia, Tinia, and Melua all looked at him in confusion. The sea breeze made Melua unconsciously wrap her arms around herself.
Xiao Ran walked a little farther away, then waved one hand. Something incredible appeared before the three girls' eyes: a massive machine appeared out of nowhere in front of him with that single motion. Green Light Spots drifted from it as it hovered gently several meters above the ground, then slowly descended without making the slightest sound.
"Whoa, what is that? Is this some kind of superpower?!?" Tinia rushed to Xiao Ran's side and pointed at the enormous machine before him, crying out excitedly in disbelief.
"It's just a one-time special machine storage device." Xiao Ran glanced at Tinia, then noticed Katia and Melua approaching as well. He explained casually, "This device can store a machine in advance and release it when needed. However, because it requires specialized equipment and apparatuses, it cannot be recovered once released. And there's no way another storage device like this could exist in this world."
"Is this technology from your world?" Katia stared blankly at the machine that continuously emitted green particles.
"Mm." Xiao Ran nodded, though the truth was completely different from what he had said. The three machines he carried had been stored in his inventory. The so-called machine storage device was complete nonsense. Still, it was true that he could not put them back once they had been released.
Suddenly, a deep, heavy voice rang out through the night sky. "Lord Xiao Ran."
