On Xiao Ran's first day aboard the Ptolemaios, things ultimately ended with him pointing out all four of their flaws before starting another simulated battle. The first time, Xiao Ran had easily defeated Exia Gundam and Kyrios Gundam, but by the second time, even with the points Xiao Ran had summarized for them, all four still ended in defeat.
This time, however, Arios Gundam was the first to be destroyed, while Exia Gundam was the last.
After two consecutive battles, Xiao Ran could be said to have gone all out. By the end of the second battle, his Mental Power was nearly depleted, so he naturally could not conduct a third training session. Still, after those two simulated battles, Setsuna, Tieria, Lockon, and Hallelujah had each gained something.
The next day, after resting through the night, Ian called Xiao Ran over. He saw the gold Haro he wanted to replace his own with, and he also discovered many more Haros aboard the Ptolemaios—more than a dozen of them. They crowded densely before him, their countless repeated phrases ringing in his ears until his head began to swell. Yet his eyes still revealed a longing expression.
Xiao Ran looked at Ian and said in surprise, "There are actually this many Haros?"
"There really are too many. Every time I come here, the noise gives me a headache." Ian shook his head with a smile. This appeared to be the hangar housing Arios Gundam, and a section had clearly been isolated specifically to house these mischievous little things that were nevertheless extremely important to the Ptolemaios. Aside from the Haros, the hangar also contained the engineering equipment they used.
