Glatters had targeted a major city in the Far East. From afar, flames rising from within the city and thick black smoke billowing into the sky were already visible. New flying locust-like creatures filled the skies above the city, scattered everywhere as they relentlessly attacked its corners and outskirts. They seemed either to be attacking the remaining Earth Force troops or carrying out cleanup operations.
Along the side of the city facing the sea, destroyed warships littered the waters. Some burned fiercely, while others had sunk beneath the waves, leaving only a corner of their hulls exposed. The sea was covered in wreckage, fragments, and floating corpses.
As for the SPTs that served as the true main force of this invasion, only a small number remained, leading the locusts in expanding their control and suppressing the city. The entire city had practically fallen into Glatters's hands. With very little force, they had eliminated every Earth Force defensive line and reinforcement within the city.
