Aofan left with the team Fulu had arranged. The first batch of pilots departing with him numbered more than two hundred units, along with a group of transport ships for logistics.
These two hundred-plus units included many different models and accounted for one-fifth of all the units currently in Frey's inventory. Frey did not have much strength left now; its thousand-odd units were its entire fighting force. Though that was only so-so in Xiao Ran's eyes, at this point in time, it could still be considered Earth's strongest military force.
Neither the Earth Force nor ZAFT could possibly defeat Frey in a direct confrontation. But with only this many units, if they were truly scattered across different locations, then once their combat strength was divided and no super ace was leading them, they would not be of much use. After all, Frey only had a limited number of units equipped with time-stop devices.
Aofan's departure also filled all of Frey with a sense of tension. Many people knew that they would begin integrating with Earth and perhaps start a war with Earth's powers, but only a handful knew the specifics: Xiao Ran, Shanamia, Aofan, and Fulu.
After Aofan left, Fulu, who had seen him off, returned to Xiao Ran's office and informed him that Aofan had departed with his men.
Xiao Ran merely nodded upon learning that Aofan had left. He had received notice when Aofan began preparing; he simply had not known the exact departure time.
After Fulu finished speaking, Xiao Ran asked, "Where?"
"Europe, within Earth Force territory," Fulu replied.
"Heh, he chose to go deep into Earth Force territory right away. Looks like Aofan is confident he can tear off a chunk of their flesh." Xiao Ran smiled. "ZAFT and Orb won't be able to provide supplies
