When the Aiba Brothers arrived at the Apocalypse's medical bay, Toda came with them. After saluting Xiao Ran, he stepped aside and looked toward the brothers.
The Aiba Brothers' feelings toward Xiao Ran, especially Aiba Shinyo's, were actually complicated. Yet there was no resentment or hatred. Xiao Ran was both the benefactor who had freed their family and the enemy who had destroyed it. It was impossible to say exactly what kind of feeling that was.
Aiba Takano's thoughts were much simpler. On the battlefield, each side served its own master. Besides, those relatives of his were no longer the people they had once been. Xiao Ran had merely eliminated enemies under normal circumstances, and he had done so to protect Earth from suffering even greater harm.
When the two learned that Xiao Ran had brought back an Iron Man—and a female Iron Man at that—they hurried over. Both were visibly excited when they entered the medical bay, but since they did not immediately see Aiba Miyuki, who had already entered the treatment pod, they could only look at Xiao Ran expectantly.
After glancing at the Aiba Brothers, Xiao Ran proactively stepped aside and looked toward the treatment pod. "The female Iron Man is inside. You can see whether she is your sister."
The Aiba Brothers exchanged an excited look. Aiba Takano could not help rushing toward the treatment pod, pressing himself against it as he looked inside. The glass was blurred, making it impossible to see clearly, but when he spotted that hint of green at the head position inside the pod, his eyes instantly reddened.
He turned around, nodded excitedly at Xiao Ran, and shouted, "It's Miyuki! It really is Miyuki! Thank you, Lord Xiao Ran! Thank you!"
Xiao Ran nodded lightly. "If it is, then I'm relieved."
