Nai Pa and Quincy Isha suddenly found themselves at odds with each other, but Renard saw things clearly. Neither of them had expected to encounter other factions here, and neither side seemed to know much about the other. Originally, both sides had intended to show off their strength, but unexpectedly, they had chosen the same target.
At this point, however, it was no longer simply about the two sides displaying their strength. It was also about using that display to seize the leading voice in the current alliance. Though every faction had its own hidden agenda, and even Blue Cosmos and the Federation were surely plotting something, their objective regarding the strongest Frie ZAFT Allied Forces was currently the same.
As long as the Frie ZAFT Allied Forces remained so powerful and showed no signs of decline, neither faction would reveal its true intentions, no matter how much they schemed against each other. Unless one side believed it possessed the strength to deal with Xiao Ran—but in Renard's eyes, that was almost impossible.
Xiao Ran's strength simply defied common sense. At least in Renard's view, neither of these factions had the ability to face Xiao Ran alone. Otherwise, they would be stronger than Xiao Ran's side. If that were the case, why would they need to seek an alliance with the Federation? They could simply step forward, wipe out the Federation and Xiao Ran, and rule the Earth.
Azrael's expression also turned somewhat ugly. He understood the implications behind Quincy Isha and Nai Pa's words; they clearly did not take him seriously at all. Yet Azrael had no standing to say anything. The Federation was currently at an absolute disadvantage. Without military power, and with its military strength being so weak, the Federation and Blue Cosmos had little chance of
