After taking stock of the forces Xiao Ran had come into contact with since arriving in this world—Frie, ZAFT, Orb, the Alliance, Devil Gundam, the Mechanical Beast Legion, Amalgam, Mithril, Radam Iron Men, the current Ou Fan, Ironclad Dragon, and the Infinite Empire, which was said to have already dispatched an advance fleet.
Frie and ZAFT, who should originally have been villains in the story, had now become forces of justice. The Alliance, which should have been the final victor, had already completely collapsed. The Frie Alliance, Orb, ZAFT, and Frie's many allied forces were steadily taking over everything the Alliance had left behind.
The Alliance's affiliated forces, such as Blue Cosmos, had been wiped out by Renard, while Nigal Heavy Industries was also under Xiao Ran's control.
