C.C stared blankly at Xiao Ran as he walked up to her, unable to react for a moment, as though she had not heard what he said at all.
"What, unwilling?" Xiao Ran frowned slightly. "I said I need your absolute cooperation."
"No, I'm very willing." A smile suddenly appeared on C.C's face—the first smile she had shown since Xiao Ran met her. There was something peculiar in that smile, as though she were asking why he would be interested in a power he looked down on.
Xiao Ran said leisurely, "There's nothing strange about it. Everyone likes power. Although I truly don't think GEASS would be of much use to me, I'm still curious what kind of GEASS someone like me would receive."
