Beams shot out from the GN Dragoons one after another. They had no specific targets, yet every unit present was a target. The GN Dragoons seemed to follow some kind of trajectory, yet also appeared to move completely without pattern, opening and closing as beams danced through the air in a dazzling display. From a purely technical perspective, the beams formed countless vast nets at varying angles, sweeping over every target.
They passed precisely through countless units' weapons, heads, shoulders, and thrusters, completely avoiding the cockpits and energy compartments of the attacked machines. Their targets were parts whose destruction would greatly affect the units, yet would not kill the pilots inside.
The beams flashing over those dozen-odd seconds were impossible to count. As all the GN Dragoons spun back and reinserted themselves into the flight-wing slots behind Pendragon, the Knight Lance in its hand also began spinning at high speed like an electric drill. Though it had no drill bit, the lance itself possessed several Beam Emitters. As it rotated, it fired beams that either converged or spread apart, forming enormous inner and outer spirals. The beams of the outer spiral scattered outward, tearing apart everything in their paths and leaving a peculiar trail even across the ground, while the inner spiral's beams converged into one and viciously pierced the Seven Gods Combination that had escaped earlier in the battle.
Although the converged spiral beams visually resembled a massive, twisted, rotating beam drill, that was merely a visual effect. In truth, several different attacks were striking countless extremely close yet entirely distinct points in continuous succession.
The Seven Gods Combination's repulsion shield had once been able to deflect and block even Mazinger Kaiser's attacks, but against Pendragon's assault, it held out for less than a second. The clashing force fields
