On the bridge of Xiao Ran's battleship, the large screen displayed a live projection of the situation on the ground. More than a dozen dimensional passages were packed tightly together, staggered in every direction. The passages distorted the surrounding space, while black clouds filled the skies and black and red lightning flashed everywhere, creating an apocalyptic scene. Even the sky seemed to have been dyed blood-red.
Below the dimensional passages were countless Dimensional Beasts that had already emerged, with even more filing out of the passages in orderly ranks, as though migrating. Compared to their previous chaos, the Dimensional Beasts were acting far more systematically this time. Several new types that had not appeared before had also emerged.
One was the airborne Firepower Type Xiao Ran had anticipated. It was enormous, without anything that clearly resembled cannon barrels, but it possessed numerous biological organs capable of unleashing long-range firepower.
Another type resembled flying dragons. Their bodies were slimmer and longer, and they had a pair of wings. At a glance, it was clear they were meant to serve as the main aerial combat force, and they should have been quite agile.
But none of that mattered much to Xiao Ran. What truly caught his attention was a new type of Dimensional Beast on the ground. It stood over fifty meters tall and somewhat resembled the previous four-legged giant beasts, but its head was completely different. It looked like a heavy shield, a shield made of the same crystalline material found on other Dimensional Beasts. It resembled the Bastiodon design from Pocket Monsters, only far larger and more ferocious.
