Xiao Ran's first world had been a projected version of World of Warcraft, where he had flipped the table and taken a three-day tour. To him, the second and third missions had both been utterly worthless worlds. The second had been Onimusha, and the third had been The Witcher. Both were projections with only a small area, and even their rules were incomplete. Such mission maps were enormous for true newbie Gamers, but to Xiao Ran, they held no value worth excavating at all. They were not even as complete as the World of Warcraft from his first mission.
The mission requirements had been nothing more than eliminating designated types and quantities of targets. Xiao Ran had flipped the table in both missions, completed them easily, and returned. The raw rewards had not been bad, but from Xiao Ran's perspective, they were all worthless things. In the end, he packaged everything up and sold it to the system.
The house in the capital had been completed. Its exterior style matched the surrounding buildings, but its interior was an entirely different world, filled with technology and a modern atmosphere. Everything used the finest materials and equipment. There was a swimming pool, lawn, garden, fountain, and a beautifully arranged environment. Several separate buildings, none taller than three stories, stood throughout the grounds. Beneath the surface lay numerous defensive measures entirely controlled by terminals. All of it was enclosed by the outer walls, shutting out the noise beyond and turning the place into something like a secluded paradise.
Xiao Ran's entire family moved in as well, each choosing a courtyard to live in. Xiao Ran officially joined a classified research institute, where he began assisting and guiding the development and practical application of technologies new to this world. He also assessed the reliability
