End
Norn had never imagined that one day he would become someone else's prisoner, much less under such circumstances. What should have been twenty-five legions beating down one legion had turned into the strange tale of one legion brutally beating twenty-five. One giant legion, three large legions, and a whole host of ordinary legions had ultimately been effortlessly lured into a pit and buried by a single legion. It was simply unheard of.
Once this matter leaked into the circles of Super Zone legions, Norn could easily imagine the uproar it would cause. The fact that people would begin taking the Burning Legion seriously and try to learn about it from every angle was secondary. More importantly, all twenty-five legions, including his own, would become laughingstocks for every participant in the Super Zone.
Such an absurd tale would be passed down forever in Prometheus. Everyone would know that there had once been a legion in the Super Zone which, when challenged by twenty-five legions... had wiped out and captured all twenty-five while losing only a few units. And he, Norn, would become the most dazzling backdrop of all—a giant legion's Legion Leader reduced to background scenery. Everyone would point at that backdrop and say, "Look, that's the idiot who fell into the trap."
Norn did not want to die, nor did he intend to die, but the burning shame on his face was unavoidable. Yet compared to that embarrassment, the gap in his heart was truly beyond words. Hatred? Bitterness? Grief and envy? Of course he felt all of those things, but he did not dare show them. He even forced himself not to harbor any resentment, because he knew he could not afford to provoke the big shot before him.
This was absolutely a bottomless pit. Anyone foolish enough
