With Cardias leading the way, Xiao Ran and Yao soon passed through a secret passage in the Cardias estate and arrived at a special research institute. It was a small technical factory hidden inside a satellite, dedicated to adjusting the RX-0 and perfecting the NT-D system.
A bald man came out to greet the three of them immediately. Jarl Chen, Cardias's secretary, had originally worked for the Earth Federation Intelligence Department. However, because he admired Cardias's ideals and shared his goals, he had pledged his loyalty to him.
When the bald Jarl saw Xiao Ran, he froze for a moment before bowing. "Lord Xiao Ran."
"Mm." Xiao Ran nodded lightly, glanced around, and said, "A hidden technical factory. Although the RX-0 was partially completed at Anaheim on the moon, it seems the main body and system development were finished here. Is there a hangar capable of accommodating MS units?"
Jarl looked at Cardias first. After the latter gave a slight nod, he said, "Yes. To deal with various situations, there is also a hidden MS hangar here."
"Yao, call them over." Xiao Ran spoke to Yao first, then turned to Jarl. "My people are waiting on the outer hull of the satellite. Please bring them in with my assistant. Keeping them in their cockpits the whole time isn't ideal."

Cardias said, "Come with me. I'll show you the RX-0."
Jarl left with Yao to receive Guang, Hana, and Aiba Shinyo, while Cardias led Xiao Ran directly to the dedicated hangar where the RX-0 was stored. A pure white machine with a single horn appeared before Xiao Ran.
Without gravity, Xiao Ran gave the ground a light push and floated up. After inspecting the machine from top to bottom, he nodded and turned to Cardias below him.
