One side was Prometheus, one side was the Native inhabitants, and one side was participants controlled by Prometheus. A conflict had erupted between two of those three sides in the Fantasy Zone. The cause was unknown, the course was unknown, but the final result was that Prometheus had permanently lost the Fantasy Zone.
The two sides were most likely Prometheus and the participants against the Native inhabitants, though it was also possible that Prometheus and the participants had fought against other participants and the Native inhabitants.
What did "lost" mean? It could have meant destruction, or it could have meant that the other side had won and broken free from Prometheus's control. But regardless of which it was, it seemed to tell everyone that Prometheus was not invincible. The worst possible outcome was merely mutual destruction.
Furthermore, in the Fantasy Zone, participants were not the only ones capable of coming into contact with Prometheus. Native inhabitants could contact Prometheus as well, and could even receive enhancements from it. Xiao Ran could not understand the point of this. Was it to increase competitiveness? To forcibly add another wave of difficulty?
Xiao Ran could imagine a war that swept an entire great world into it. But tossing all known forces, along with even more unknown factions, into a single universe, mixing in participants, and possibly even Mythical level S-class Pilots who had grown up in both the Super Zone and the Real Zone... Xiao Ran had no idea what a chaotic free-for-all in such a massive hodgepodge world would look like.
Prometheus had far too many secrets, and the Fantasy Zone was only one of them. What Nameless had told Xiao Ran had been nothing more than ambiguous words, touching only lightly on the subject without delving deeper. Since Nameless had not
