Xiao Ran fixed a sharp gaze on the calm-faced Ribbons, who was under the muzzle of his gun. "Isn't that right, Ribbons?"
Ribbons gave Xiao Ran a deep look, then suddenly shook his head and smiled. He spread his hands slightly and said in his distinctive voice, "That's right. Just as Mr. Alex said, he really is an idiot. But Mr. Alex, you are the truly surprising one. It is as though you have already seen through everything."
After seeing Ribbons' behavior, Alejandro's eyes widened in disbelief. His neck was pinned, and he clutched Xiao Ran's wrist with both hands as he spoke haltingly. "Cough, cough... Ribbons... you... you..."
"Yes, the plan I told you from beginning to end was never entirely true. I was merely using you. After all, you really were too stupid." Ribbons smiled faintly, utterly unlike the obedient man he had been moments ago, as if he had become a different person. He said elegantly, "But now, I think I have found a better partner. Besides, if I keep concealing things like this, Mr. Alex, who has already seen through everything, probably will not let me go. At the very least, I am more useful than you."
Xiao Ran raised an eyebrow at Ribbons. Even he was somewhat surprised by the side Ribbons had revealed. Narrowing his eyes, Xiao Ran called Sheryl out of the room, then flung Alejandro directly onto the sofa, drawing a muffled groan from him. Xiao Ran did not even spare Mr. Alejandro a glance. Instead, he spun the pistol in his hand halfway around and held its grip out toward Ribbons.
Seeing Xiao Ran's expression, Ribbons smiled knowingly, as though nothing more needed to be said. However, he did not take Xiao Ran's weapon. Instead, he took a multipurpose pistol independently
