Once everything had been arranged, Xiao Ran watched the warships and transport vessels slowly depart on the Command Center's large screen and let out a slight breath. Just as he was about to order everyone in the Defense Building to begin evacuating as well, he suddenly froze at the sight of the slowly departing ships. He frowned slightly and thought for roughly ten seconds.
"Notify all vessels carrying evacuees to count every civilian aboard and confirm once again whether anyone is missing. Also, locate a boy named Shinn Asuka. He has black hair, and his family should consist of four people. He has a younger sister named Mayu Asuka."
"Once you find them, send the entire family to Akatsuki Works. After issuing the order, notify everyone in the Defense Building to evacuate."
"Yes."
Everyone in the Command Center stood up, faced Xiao Ran, and raised their right hands in salute. Xiao Ran could even see tears of unknown meaning welling up in the eyes of several young women.
Xiao Ran shook his head slightly. After returning their salute, he turned and left the Command Center. Once outside the Defense Building, he boarded the Lightning Aegis and flew toward Akatsuki Works.
When the Lightning Aegis landed within the Akatsuki Works complex, Xiao Ran saw Freedom Gundam and Justice Gundam standing opposite each other. Perhaps out of a quirky hobby, he parked his machine directly between them before climbing out of the cockpit and following a staff member into one of the factories.
The factory was bustling, though there were far fewer people than under normal staffing. Some personnel were maintaining Rage Gundam, Buster Gundam, and Strike Gundam. The three pilots had temporarily taken on the role of maintenance workers as well, working alongside the Technicians on their own machines.
