Three days passed in a flash. Boss Ya had people thoroughly clean the filthy transport ship from the inside out. The thick dust and cobwebs everywhere had been swept away, and every visible surface had been given a fresh coat of paint. In just three days, the transport aircraft's interior had been almost completely transformed.
During that time, Luo threw himself into studying the mecha they had purchased. He compared it piece by piece against the technical documentation and finally figured out some things he had been completely unable to understand before. In the end, however, he gave up on designing the Outer Armor himself and chose the first of the two options Boss Ya had originally offered.
Boss Ya would have someone design and manufacture it, but the armor specification blueprints would be sent to Luo.
Luo made that choice entirely because he did not understand this new type of ceramic Armor Material. He could not guarantee that anything he designed would suit a mecha whose research value outweighed its combat value.
If it had been his own Red Astray that needed new armor, Luo might have handled it himself. But while studying that mecha, he discovered several differences from the Red Astray, Justice Gundam, and the other mecha in Xiao Ran's entire team.
Luo did not know about the other mecha, but the one Boss Ya had sold them possessed two modes: normal mode and combat mode. It could fight in normal mode as well, which was the standard combat configuration. Enhanced mode, on the other hand, was a strengthened combat mode. In that mode, the entire mecha's output would be enormously boosted, and its overall performance would see an extraordinary increase.
