The Federation had not taken long to agree to an alliance with Axis. After all, it had no choice. Even the Federation itself was not certain how much of a threat its newly developed mobile suits could pose to the Unity Army. Its military strength was now far inferior to the Unity Army's. It had no Space Fleet, no high-end combat power, and although it had holed up in Asia, deep within that desert, it was utterly incapable of launching a counterattack against Unity.
But Axis possessed exactly what it needed: technology, a fleet, and even that giant god whose existence had yet to be confirmed. Yet Karma had personally appeared here. The arrival of the last man of the Zabi family also strongly attested to the giant god's authenticity. For Axis to willingly send someone of such high status as a hostage was itself proof of its sincerity.
With common enemies like Xiao Ran, Char, and Revil within Unity, and under the immense pressure of Unity, even if Axis and the Federation had some underhanded dealings behind the scenes, they would still sincerely stand together for the same goal and resist this powerful enemy.
After the Federation and Karma signed their alliance treaty, the Federation began preparing the resources and Technicians Axis required. Naturally, someone of sufficiently high status would also have to personally travel to Axis, just as Karma had, to maintain this still-fragile relationship between the two sides.
A massive group was assembled within days, including Technicians, guards, and some unrelated personnel. The total exceeded a thousand people. The first batch of resources and equipment was even more astonishing, practically using every Transport Aircraft currently in the Federation's possession. These scarce resources would be enough for Axis to completely repair the giant god and produce mobile suits
