Stella and the other two found Xiao Ran's order somewhat strange, but they still followed his instructions and shut down every line of communication except the four-unit squad channel. They then followed the Savior Gundam piloted by Xiao Ran toward the spaceport exit.
Before the four machines reached the spaceport exit, Xiao Ran's communications came alive.
"This is the control room, this is the control room. Colonel Neo of RGX-04, please respond."
"This is Neo in the RGX-04 Savior Gundam. Control room, go ahead."
"We have only found sortie authorization for the Savior Gundam. The Chaos Gundam, Abyss Gundam, and Gaea Gundam have not been authorized to sortie. We are also unable to contact those three machines. Please explain the reason to the control room and have them return immediately."
"Is that so? But the application I submitted was for all four machines to conduct pre-combat live training together. Could you confirm that again?"
"Please wait a moment."
Xiao Ran cut off communications with the control room. His eyes swept across the cockpit screens until he spotted the port control room behind a pane of transparent glass. He rubbed his chin and said, "Looks like we can't bluff our way through. If we want to get out, we can't do it the normal way. So how about we stop worrying about it and charge straight out?"
"Neo, won't that make them misunderstand?" Even Sting, the calmest of them, froze for a moment upon hearing Xiao Ran's words, and concern soon appeared on his face.
"What are you afraid of? Don't forget, we're the 81st Independent Mobile Unit. How could these people possibly control us?" Orro said indifferently. "At worst, we'll suffer a little. Besides, didn't Neo say he'd help us?"
"Misunderstand? Are you afraid they'll think we're defecting?" A meaningful
