The four red beams, paired two by two, collided directly like two straight lines. The instant the four red beams struck each other in pairs, it was as though all color between heaven and earth had dimmed, leaving only the two seemingly connected beams in the entire sky.
The collision between the red electromagnetic beams caused energy to gather between the Freedom Gundam and Savior Gundam, forming a rapidly twisting energy sphere. In a matter of moments, a massive explosion condensed between the two machines. The blast created by the immense energy reaction directly threw both the Freedom Gundam and Savior Gundam off balance, sending them tumbling backward.
But the two machines had been far too close—close enough that they could have touched each other simply by raising a hand. At such close range, the immense energy gathered by their electromagnetic beams had already enveloped both machines within the unstable energy sphere's range before it exploded. Whether it was the Freedom Gundam's twin cannons or the Savior Gundam's twin cannons, the fronts of both machines—even their entire frames—were severely affected by the terrifyingly destructive energy spilling everywhere.
The most severely affected parts were the cannon barrels firing the beams, followed by the fronts of the machines, and then the rest of their bodies. The barrels visibly melted away beneath the enormous energy, while the fronts of the machines melted and contracted under the same energy and heat capable of melting anything. Within just a few seconds, the Freedom Gundam's head and frontal armor no longer resembled their original forms, while the Savior Gundam's arms and waist armor also rapidly melted away for the same reason.
When both machines' twin cannons exploded after being unable to withstand the high temperature, the two energy spheres, deprived of a continuous energy supply, immediately
