The Librarians and LOGOS were not unfamiliar to those present. They had encountered the Librarians during the battle two years ago and knew about the Photocopy Persons. As for LOGOS, that mysterious organization that had always hidden behind the world, this was not the first time they had heard of it either. They also knew that LOGOS was an alliance made up of Death Merchants.
Xiao Ran's meaning was also very clear. Orb would not involve itself in the war between ZAFT and the Alliance, but it would join ZAFT in dealing with LOGOS. Yet LOGOS controlled the Alliance, which meant that under certain circumstances, Orb might also have to go to war with the Alliance because of LOGOS. But this would truly address the root cause of the current war. Once LOGOS was dealt with, the Alliance and ZAFT would have no further reason to fight. The world would naturally return to peace, which was in line with the ideals Orb upheld.
But there were matters Xiao Ran understood that Kira and Lacus did not, and there was no need for them to know. What he had said was enough.
