They carried weapons and wore helmets that looked as though they had several eyes. Not far outside the town, three aerial carriers drifted slowly through the sky from three different directions. Led by those three space carriers, more than fifty MS had completely surrounded the town.
Neither Xiao Ran nor Ribbons appeared to have noticed what was happening outside, but in truth, neither of them had missed a single movement outside.
After hearing Xiao Ran's plan, Ribbons could not help applauding. The sound of his clapping echoed through the room as he spoke with admiration. Xiao Ran's expression did not change in response to Ribbons's praise. He merely maintained his calm expression and said, "There's nothing admirable about it. Ribbons smiled faintly without speaking. He stood up and walked over to the window, gently pulling open a narrow gap in the curtains to glance outside. Only then did he turn back to Xiao Ran. "It seems the people outside are ready as well. Your return has certainly rattled quite a few people.
