Billy, however, could not restrain his surprise and cried out softly. Fortunately, he remembered where they were, so only the three of them heard his suppressed exclamation.
Xiao Ran nodded firmly, as though using that forceful gesture to reinforce the certainty of his words. "That's right. The current federal government has completely rotted away. In pursuit of unification, it has done all sorts of outrageous things. The Federation is no longer the foundation of peace and stability in this world; it has become the source of war and chaos. To change the current situation, we must deal with the root cause. Overthrowing the current government is a helpless choice, but it is also the only way."
"On the surface, only Africa and the Middle East appear to be in chaos, but that chaos was deliberately caused and even encouraged by the Federation to force those regions into joining it. The internal situation is equally chaotic—the privileges of A-LAWS against the local forces, the ruling faction against the opposition. On the surface, all this chaos seems to have been caused by the Resistance Organization KATHARON, but in reality, it is far more complicated than that."
