The Candidate
The complete Darkness Sky unit was an A-class mecha, while the main body alone was A-. It was extremely difficult for Luo to use technical restrictions to lower the mecha to a level Xiao Ran could operate perfectly. But no matter what he did, the Sky Pack alone had already reached the peak of B+ class, so it would be difficult to reduce the complete mecha to B-class through technical restrictions.
An A- class mecha that was of little use to Xiao Ran had raised the mecha's overall rating. Luo was rather helpless about that; it felt like some of his effort had gone to waste. However, if the pilot were replaced with a true Newtype, Luo would be able to see the terrifying power the Darkness main body could unleash.
Fortunately, the Sky Pack itself possessed independent combat capabilities. Though it was called a backpack, it was actually a strange transformable MS. It was no worse than the Justice Gundam in the slightest. Forget barely using it in battle—even using it as a proper combat unit would not be a problem at all.
Seeing Luo's troubled expression, Xiao Ran smiled and patted him on the shoulder. "It's fine. Once this mission ends, I'll definitely reach A-Class. Rather than restricting the mecha to lower its rating, it would be better to directly repair the Justice Gundam. Otherwise, if performance restrictions cause the mecha to lose functions, it would be more trouble than it's worth. Besides, I have other plans for this mission, so my requirements for the mecha aren't that high."
"Hm?" Luo tilted his head in confusion, then suddenly realized something and said in astonishment, "You're planning to use that Area Card?"
After all, there was only one situation in which he would have no requirements for
