Ah Yin and Bibi Dong returned to Sea God Island as gods to bring Xu Ruohan and the others home for the coming changes and their divine trials. Before leaving, Bibi Dong freed Bo Saixi from Sea God Island’s restraints, leaving her able to choose her own future.

• Ah Yin and Bibi Dong retrieved Dugu Yan and Xiao Bai from the beach, and Dugu Yan eagerly agreed to return for her divine trials while Xiao Bai stayed to protect Sea God Island.
• Ah Yin and Bibi Dong found Xu Ruohan and the others, who asked to say farewell to the island’s guardians and High Priest.
• Feng Xiaotian and his group brought Bo Saixi and Qian Daoliu to meet Ah Yin and Bibi Dong, and Bo Saixi warned that leaving before the divine trials were complete could endanger the group.

The Evil Emperor began Tang San’s supposed Ninth Trial before the continent, only to reveal that it was a joke as recordings played across the land.

• Ah Yin offered to accompany Zhu Zhuqing home and encouraged Xu Ruoruo and Xu Ruobing to finish their divine trials.

The Evil Emperor revealed Toad Tang San’s crimes across Douluo Continent, turning his allies against him, and Yu Yuanzhen and Tang Hao killed him. The Evil Emperor extracted Tang San’s soul and Bibi Dong explained that the trial had been designed to torment him, just as Xu Xin arrived to confront the remaining leaders.

• The Evil Emperor revealed Toad Tang San’s past deeds throughout Douluo Continent, and Xue Ya set out for the Star Luo Empire while Ah Rou lost hope of resurrecting Xiao Wu.
• Ning Fengzhi realized the Ninth Divine Trial had been a deception, and Yu Yuanzhen attacked Toad Tang San for killing Yu Xiao Gang.
• Tang Hao struck Toad Tang San with the Clear Sky Hammer, killing him, but the Evil Emperor pulled out his soul.
• Bibi Dong told Toad Tang San that the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud and the trial had been prepared to torture him and give him false hope.

Xu Xin left Toad Tang San trapped and prepared Shadow Hall for a decisive transformation in the Ghost Shadow Kingdom. Xiao Yu and Tara appeared to crown Xu Xin as Sovereign, leaving him in control of the kingdom with the power of a Creation God.

• Xu Xin seized Toad Tang San's soul and left him facing execution while his divine-trial achievement continued to be broadcast.
• Yu Yuanzhen called for full-scale war preparations, and the group returned to Star Luo Palace.
• Xu Xin brought Shadow Hall's upper ranks into the Ghost Shadow Kingdom and gathered them in the Shadow Sanctum.

Three years later, Xu Xin led the united forces to begin conquering the universe, while Asura God King and Toad Tang San remained imprisoned in sky lanterns.
