Background / History

Lin Kun was originally a modern-day man who complained about Tang San’s story before awakening as a poor orphan in Holy Soul Village. His transmigration is tied to the Plot Breakdown System, which immediately assigns him a life-threatening task: make Xiao Wu’s first kiss belong to him rather than Tang San. Failure carries severe consequences, forcing Lin Kun to pursue strength despite his fear and lack of resources 1.

At his Martial Soul awakening, Lin Kun manifests an ancient, apparently ordinary book with a dark cover and a small transparent crystal embedded in its center.
