Chu Ke nodded. His guess had been correct. Their ability to accept cyberware was fundamentally also proof of powerful Spiritual Power, allowing them to retain their sense of self even after having large amounts of cyberware implanted.

People like that could reach a respectable height in any power system they chose.

"Whew, I'm alive! Chu Ge, do you have any cola?" The instant Chu Ke snapped his fingers, V felt his previous mental exhaustion recede like the tide. "Can I have ramen, Brother Chu?" David hesitated for a moment. He did not like the taste of cola, and after several days without food, his mouth felt completely bland.

Chu Ke casually conjured a bowl for him as well.

As for cooking himself? Sorry, unless Chu Ke was eating too, no one got that kind of treatment.

As the food entered their stomachs, the two felt their bodies frantically break it down into energy. A current of "qi" surged from their hearts, flowed throughout their bodies, and gathered in the Dantian below their abdomens.

V had it much worse. Because so much of his body had been converted into cyberware, his Inner Force could not circulate through him for the time being. It could only strengthen the remaining flesh-and-blood parts of his body.

For now, he could only watch David play with his Inner Force in envy.

But the good times did not last. The next second, David let out a "Wah!" and sprayed blood from his mouth before collapsing to the ground, vomiting blood like a fountain.

"There's a proper method for circulating qi. If you circulate it incorrectly, you'll suffer internal injuries. At best, you'll cough up blood. At worst, your body will explode and you'll die." Chu Ke slightly reversed David's time, restoring him to normal.
