The group had dwindled from the original eight to six. Yet aside from Jia Xin and Wen Lu, who had the jade pendant attached to her, everyone else believed there had always been this many people. They had no awareness whatsoever of their missing companions.

If this continued, then by the time their numbers fell to the final three, the sole survivor would probably still find it perfectly natural. This was somewhat similar to the American horror film A Nightmare on Elm Street, except the loss of memory in the movie occurred within the Dreamscape, while this was happening in reality.
