Scades stared wide-eyed at Chang Wei. As if performing a magic trick, he slowly extended an extra arm from behind his back and accurately caught the fist she had thrown with all her strength. The sight was bizarre and shocking, enough to make one doubt the reality of it.
Isn't this fucking cheating?
Scades roared inwardly. Though she did not voice it aloud, her shock and unwillingness were plain to see.
A trace of amusement flashed through Chang Wei's eyes. He seemed to be enjoying Scades's astonishment and struggle.
"Time's a little tight, Scades. We only have thirty minutes."
Chang Wei stared at Scades and licked his lips.
Scades did not stop struggling. She violently broke free of Chang Wei's seemingly magical third hand. Like an arrow loosed from its bow, she instantly erupted with astonishing speed and strength, launching a storm of attacks at Chang Wei.
Fist wind whistled through the air, every blow carrying all of Scades's strength and determination, as though it would tear apart the air itself.
Yet Chang Wei was like a dancer walking the edge between life and death. His movements were light and nimble, every dodge perfectly timed, as if he could foresee Scades's every move.
His figure weaved through Scades's attacks like a butterfly freely flitting among flowers—elegant, yet deadly.
A tiny difference could lead to a world of error.
Scades knew Chang Wei was strong, but she had thought she could at least get some training out of this. Yet now, what training was there? Wasn't she just being completely toyed with?
Then Chang Wei struck back. He defeated Scades in a single blow, then dragged her into the room.
"Wait..."
Scades's little face went pale. He wasn't going to do that sort of thing, was he? No, please!
