General Ross was furious. He strode toward Chang Wei, ready to demand an explanation. "Chang Wei, what exactly are you trying to do? This is a military operation. You have no right to interfere!"
"I should be saying that to you, General."
Chang Wei smiled faintly. His helmet slowly opened, revealing his sharply defined face. The helmet's folding storage design made Tony freeze once again.
After all, his own helmet could at most open its faceplate. Chang Wei's, however, could fold away entirely. If the material strength were not sufficient, such a design would actually make the helmet's structure fragile.
Another thing he had no way to imitate or surpass.
Tony silently complained to himself. This leap in technology left him both envious and helpless.
Every breakthrough he had made in armor design had come with countless failures and attempts, while Chang Wei always seemed to cross seemingly insurmountable technical barriers in an almost miraculous way.
That sense of powerlessness only strengthened Tony's resolve to keep exploring and innovating.
"Who do you think you are? How dare you criticize the military whenever you please?"
General Ross tried to regain some ground, but the lack of conviction in his voice was obvious.
Facing General Ross's questioning, Chang Wei remained exceptionally composed. "General, you should know very well that leading troops into Columbia University for a military operation without authorization not only violated multiple regulations, but also caused a massive uproar in the international community. The negative impact this irresponsible behavior has brought to the country is far more serious than a Hulk."
Chang Wei showed no courtesy at all.
"Chang Wei, don't forget that we're protecting this country, protecting its people from those monsters!"
General Ross said.
Chang Wei shook his head gently, a cold smile curling across his lips.
"Protecting
