Tony relentlessly pursued Chadnomar, who was secretly alarmed. He had thought he knew this city's Sewer System inside out and could use it as a secret escape route. Yet Tony seemed to possess an even keener sense of smell. No matter how cleverly Chadnomar twisted and turned, Iron Man always followed like a shadow, as though a tracker had been installed on him.

Chadnomar realized how troublesome Tony was. Iron Man, clad in high technology, was usually only stumped by beings who defied common sense and could not be dealt with by conventional means, such as the immensely strong Hulk or a Cosmic Magnitude overlord like Thanos.
But when facing ordinary Superheroes or criminals, Tony Stark was practically a cheater. His intelligence always enabled him to find a way to defeat his opponents, and what he displayed was this flawless, powerful Iron Man suit with full-spectrum coverage.
Reality was not a movie. Tony could not possibly make the kind of absurd, error-ridden mistakes his movie counterpart did. His brilliant mind would make him find ways to patch up his own shortcomings and flaws, which resulted in this powerful Iron Man suit with no blind spots.
If Chadnomar wanted to catch up to Tony and contend with him through mutation alone, then he would have needed to inject Hulk's blood or Sentry serum rather than Perfect Blood.
