Chang Wei might not have been as large as monsters like Goliath and Hydra that had been infected by the Blacklight Virus, but his density and mass far surpassed theirs.

Just like a fist-sized chunk of steel and a foam box—the former was certainly not as big as the latter, but it could effortlessly destroy it!

Chang Wei was not surprised that the Blacklight Virus on his surface was destroyed so quickly. If a nuclear bomb could not do even that, it would not be a nuclear bomb.

Right now, he was like a ball of ants clumped together. The outer ants sacrificed themselves solely to protect those inside. The difference was that Chang Wei had deliberately used the nuclear bomb to force his Blacklight Virus to evolve!

The Blacklight Virus could evolve specifically to resist abilities that harmed or destroyed it. Faced with the forty-million-ton impact, heat, and radiation produced by the Nuclear Warhead, the Blacklight Virus—personally advanced by Chang Wei into the Super Blacklight Virus—had potential that already far exceeded Elizabeth's and Alex's.

So Chang Wei eagerly anticipated whether it could evolve under the pressure of a nuclear bomb without relying on the system!

The nuclear explosion ended. The most prosperous area of Manhattan Island, as well as the place with the most Blacklight Virus creatures, had been destroyed.

This was Chang Wei's first time experiencing the agony caused by intense radiation. His body seemed to be tearing apart, yet also as though it had been shoved into a hydraulic press and crushed to pulp. The countless pains and torments were almost more than even he could bear.

Left with no choice, Chang Wei controlled the secretion of hormones in his body and converted the pain into pleasure.

Chang Wei rolled around on the ground like a madman. It was too stimulating!

The amount of DNA information contained in Chang Wei's body was now roughly eight times that of a human. It included not only reptilian traits, but also those of other creatures such as fish and birds.

This allowed him to gain the ability to adapt to different environments without undergoing lengthy reproduction and evolution.

Chang Wei sensed the changes in his body. As it continued to rot, his lower body had decayed all the way up to his chest, while his upper body was also so rotten that it no longer looked human, exposing his bones.

New Blacklight Virus began to grow. The ample energy Chang Wei had stored beforehand became the key to evolution.

Without the Blacklight Virus constantly growing and regenerating, there would be no Blacklight Virus like this now.

Chang Wei could feel the burning sensation around him disappear. He had only blocked his pain receptors; his other senses, such as touch, remained.

"Has the radiation decreased?"

He stood up again, his body brimming with strength, as though it contained power capable of destroying the world. The feeling was unprecedentedly wonderful.

"Boom!"

Chang Wei threw a punch. The air was instantly punched through, creating a vacuum effect, and then a half-collapsed building several hundred meters in front of him shattered completely.

To destroy a building with one punch from so far away—was it because it had become fragile after being ravaged by the nuclear bomb, or because Chang Wei's strength was simply too great?

"It isn't generated inside the body, but inside the cells?"

Chang Wei looked on in surprise. He could sense the minute changes in his body, not to mention he had the system as an auxiliary tool.
