A global red crisis!

The infection spread like ink dripping onto white paper, its transmission speed unimaginable and beyond human comprehension. There was no way to contain it.

After all, unlike Black Watch, which could suppress an infection within a single street while the next street remained peaceful and normal, most countries lacked that kind of military strength. The powerful nations that did possess it had been Caught Off Guard.

Most importantly, this was Chang Wei's upgraded Super Blacklight Virus. Anubis, Degenerate Hunters, and Four-armed Hunters alone were enough to make it impossible for humanity to carry out containment and eradication.

Not to mention that Chang Wei had now developed the faster-spreading, wider-ranging "Wind God Pterosaur."

Hunters with the ability to fly!

He knew full well that humanity's greatest strength was its control over Air Supremacy. As long as they flew high enough, a Gunship or an A-10 Thunderbolt attack aircraft could suppress every infected organism.

The Hunters did not need exceptional flying speed. They only needed to carry out Obstruction Interception, just like birds could destroy a fighter jet despite not flying particularly fast.

The Pterodactyl Hunters had a combat radius of over a hundred kilometers. They needed neither food nor water, nor did they consume fuel. Covering hundreds of kilometers only required consuming one person.

Next came the elimination of humanity's satellite communications and guidance capabilities.

A layer of "membrane" covered the stratosphere, blocking sunlight and all kinds of Electromagnetic Waves signals.

That was the Blacklight Virus Atmosphere created by Chang Wei. It was a full hundred meters thick, and its area had already covered the skies over the entire Americas and Europe. It was still spreading relentlessly, and every human who observed its existence was terrified.

The information came from General Randall's memories, yet when Chang Wei found the target location, he discovered that it had long since become a Nest of Blacklight Virus organisms. After consuming it, he found it was an extremely outdated version of the Blacklight Virus.

Chang Wei did not believe the Jester Jason's Blacklight Virus was only at this level. Strictly speaking, the one in Jason's body should have been the original virus from Project Redlight, with a more perfect degree of fusion than Elizabeth's. How could it be such an outdated virus?

So Chang Wei thought, since you refuse to come out, I'll infect the entire world—sea, land, and sky. Then let's see where you can still hide.

Nuclear submarines were a threat to Chang Wei, but the ocean was simply too vast. Chang Wei could not yet eliminate humanity's submarines. What a joke. If such a powerful virus truly existed, humanity would have left Earth long ago.

They felt they could not sit still and wait for death. So what if they were aliens? They would still smash the enemy's teeth!

The only problem was that the enemy was located in the stratosphere. Using nuclear weapons there could affect the global environment afterward.

Back then, the Tsar Bomba had only detonated on the ground, yet its shockwave circled Earth three and a half times. Now, they planned to use a blanket strike of one hundred one-megaton Hydrogen Bombs in the stratosphere, expanding the strike range to destroy that layer of unknown black matter. However, that thing was spreading at nearly one square meter per second, and more frighteningly, that speed was continuing to increase. Chang Wei had simply made those Blacklight Viruses develop a plant-like photosynthetic mechanism.

Photosynthesis alone definitely could not sustain such a conversion speed and efficiency, but the Blacklight Virus's energy utilization had already reached an almost miraculous level. As a result, its spread grew faster and faster.
