Cloud VS Zack

He envied Chang Wei's excellence and talent. Since childhood, that emotion had grown wildly in Cloud's heart like weeds. Whenever he saw Chang Wei's confident, effortless demeanor, he felt an invisible pressure, as though a mountain were crushing his chest and leaving him unable to breathe.

Yet Cloud had not become psychologically twisted because of it. Instead, he had become even tougher and more resolute. He knew that the gap between himself and Chang Wei could not be bridged with envy and anger. What he needed was calmness and reason, hard work and persistence.

Therefore, Cloud had not regarded Chang Wei as his idol, but as a goal he needed to surpass. He understood that only by constantly challenging himself could he gradually approach that seemingly unreachable height.

Now, Cloud had learned to make peace with himself. He no longer agonized over comparisons with Chang Wei, instead putting more of his energy into improving his own strength.

He believed that as long as he kept working hard, one day he would stand alongside Chang Wei.
