Conflict, the Plot Begins

Chang Wei and Sephiroth had clearly been having a rough time lately.

As Shinra Company's top warriors, their positions had once been irreplaceable. But ever since Shinra Company developed Clone Technology, everything had begun to change.

This subtle shift had not happened overnight.

At first, Clone Technology was only discussed and researched within a small circle in Shinra Company. Though Chang Wei and Sephiroth, as senior executives, sensed that something was off, they did not look into it too deeply.

They assumed it was merely a routine method for the company to develop New Technology. After all, Shinra Company had always been known for Technological Innovation.

However, as time passed, they gradually realized that things were not so simple.

The atmosphere within Shinra Company grew increasingly heavy, as though thick storm clouds had enveloped it. Employees whispered among themselves, worry written across their faces, as if something major were about to happen.

They had been kept in the dark because Shinra Company's president feared they would object.

After all, the emergence of Clone Technology meant that their status and importance would be threatened.

The president decided to tell them the truth only once the technology had fully matured and the clones could completely replace them.

Sephiroth stood before the office window, his deep gaze fixed on the scene outside.

He had always been perceptive, able to notice subtle changes within the company at once. During this period, he had clearly felt that the company's upper management had been acting strangely.

In the past, high-level meetings had been open and transparent, with every core member taking part.

Recently, however, those meetings had become exceptionally secretive. Only a handful of people attended each one, and they were always held late at night, as if something shameful were being plotted in the shadows.
