"Emperor Company's technology is highly mysterious, and their goals and plans have always been a mystery. However, we have no other choice now. If we want to break free from Jenova's control and become human again, we must take this risk."

Genesis spoke seriously.

Angeal took a deep breath. He knew Genesis was right.

They had no way back. They could only press forward bravely.

"What do I need to do?"

Angeal asked.

"Come with me to Emperor Company, then take revenge on Shinra Company for turning us into monsters!"

Genesis answered.

Angeal didn't say anything and left with Genesis.

Angeal had recently noticed changes in his body.

A pure white wing had actually grown from his back.

It resembled an angel's wing, pure and beautiful.

Yet to Angeal, it was a tremendous source of confusion. He did not know what this wing meant, nor did he know what effect it would have on him.

"This is the mark of Jenova."

Genesis looked at the wing behind Angeal and spoke calmly. There was a trace of complicated emotion in his eyes, as though he had seen his own former shadow.

Angeal said nothing. He merely gazed silently at the wing.

He knew this wing was not merely a symbol, but proof that his body had changed. He had already been corrupted by Jenova's power. He was no longer the human he once was.

Shinra Company had not been having an easy time lately.

Although it had always cautiously stayed within its own sphere of influence, the problems with the Mako Reactors weighed like a massive stone upon its chest, leaving Shinra's upper ranks unable to breathe.

The Mako Reactors, the energy source that had once brought Shinra Company to its peak, had now become like ticking time bombs that could
