Chang Wei looked with satisfaction at the Infected organism under his control. Every one of its actions and thoughts could be controlled by Chang Wei. He did not know how the Blacklight Virus established this connection, nor did he know whether something could disrupt it.

Although the system's explanation was fairly detailed, it could not possibly cover every aspect. Chang Wei would have to figure out the rest himself.

Chang Wei then tested this Infected organism's Battle Power. Naturally, the targets were other Blacklight Virus creatures.

The comparison showed that ordinary infected were no match for it at all. It often took only one blow to kill an ordinary infected. Even the same type of bloated infected from before was easily disemboweled by Chang Wei's Infected organism and killed with two slashes.

Then Chang Wei became interested and had it test itself against a Hunter.

"Roar!!!"

The Hunter and the Infected organism tore into each other. The Hunter sent the Infected organism flying hundreds of meters with a single slap. It crashed into a wall and became embedded in it. Even its hard shell shattered, but it was still alive. After struggling free of the wall, it charged at the Hunter again.

The Hunter had not wanted to bother with it. Infected attacking it was far too rare, and the Hunter had not taken it seriously. But now that this guy had come again, the Hunter was furious.

This time, however, the Infected organism had learned. One slash cut across the Hunter's body, immediately tearing a bone-deep wound through its tough hide. Blood gushed out. In pain, the Hunter finally put real force into it and slapped Chang Wei's Infected organism to death in one blow.

"The difference in mass is far too great. Still, being able to withstand a slap from a Hunter means that shell's defensive strength is at least comparable to tank armor."

Chang Wei analyzed the results. Seeing the Hunter preparing to flee, he raised his hand and struck it with an arc of electricity.

The Hunter immediately collapsed to the ground, convulsing. Even Alex Mercer would later be taken down by C's electric baton, let alone a Hunter.

As Chang Wei increased the current, the Hunter's convulsions became even more violent. At that moment, Chang Wei "ordered" the Sub-body of the Infected organism the Hunter had killed to emerge.

The corpse of the Infected organism, whose upper body had been completely reduced to pulp, began to squirm. Then its flesh split apart, and the Sub-body crawled out. After Chang Wei stopped the electric shock, the Sub-body swiftly burrowed into the Hunter's body.

Chang Wei's Sub-bodies were difficult to kill. They possessed the same Recovery ability as him, especially while inside a corpse.

After the Sub-body entered the Hunter's body, the Hunter began convulsing even more wildly. It looked as though it were struggling on the verge of death. In reality, the Blacklight Virus inside the Hunter was stronger, so the Sub-body needed more time to complete the infection and transformation.

Then Chang Wei saw black spikes begin protruding all over the Hunter's body. They were spikes formed by the Blacklight Virus. Next, the pink skin that had originally possessed no defense became covered by a layer of hardened Blacklight Virus.

"Roar!!!"

The Hunter had been reborn and had even become more powerful. Hunters were already absurd creatures; when struck by a tank's 120mm smoothbore cannon, they could remain completely unmoved by merely raising their Claws to shield their faces.

Now that it had been strengthened, this Hunter might even be able to fight a Hunter Leader or even a Supreme Hunter.

"Go create more Infected organisms."

Chang Wei gave it the order, and the Armored Hunter swiftly ran off in one direction.

With the Sub-body's tenacious Life Force, Chang Wei basically did not need to worry about it. Even if its host was killed, it could play dead and carry out a second parasitization once a powerful enemy stopped paying attention.
