In the center stood Liva, formerly a general of the Empire. When the Little Emperor ascended the throne, he had failed to bribe Minister Honest, who had supported the Little Emperor's rise to power, and was thrown into prison. Esdeath later took him in as her subordinate from within the prison.
Imperial Tool: Water Dragon Possession (Black Marlin)—a ring-type Imperial Tool crafted from the water-manipulating organs of an aquatic danger beast. Its wielder could freely manipulate the liquids within anything they touched.

He was also utterly loyal to Esdeath.
On the left stood Niu, a cross-dresser whose hobby was peeling off girls' faces and preserving them as collectibles.
