The Corrupted Ones cracked their whips, driving the Black Tide formed from the Restricted Zone army onward until it surged forth and drowned everything.
Not far ahead lay the border between humanity and the Restricted Zone.
Through the thick darkness, they could all see a long, narrow line of fire stretching out.
That was humanity's Fire Pit defensive line.
"A puny Fire Pit defense line is nothing to fear!"
"Could this Fire Pit possibly be mentioned in the same breath as the one in Area 100+?"
At the thought of that Fire Pit which had appeared out of nowhere within the Restricted Zone, the Corrupted Ones' heads ached.
Because:
They had driven the Black Tide against it for a long time. Not only had they failed to extinguish the Fire Pit, but they had also lost a great many troops.
Several dozen Corrupted Ones had even charged inside, never to emerge again.
Outside the Fire Pit, they had seen Mechanical Giants and Giant Beasts open their Taotie maws and swallow vast quantities of evil.
