Ch. 1601Di Yu'er's Discovery

Di Yu'er and the Phoenix Emperor discovered that treasures could travel between eras through their consciousnesses, prompting Chu Qing to order tests on what else could be carried. He tasked them with finding a way to take a living person into the future.

  • Di Yu'er and the Phoenix Emperor returned to the Great Unification Era and told Chu Qing that history had changed, including the disappearance of seventy-two paths and a new record of Heaven.
  • Chu Qing acknowledged that he had caused the changes and gave them mind-strengthening treasures from Stone Ridge Mountain.
  • Di Yu'er withdrew her consciousness and found that several gemstones had followed her into the future, where she examined and then carried them back to the Great Unification Era.
  • Mingyue informed Chu Qing that the gemstones had crossed eras, and he ordered tests to learn what items could travel and whether objects inside a box could be carried.
  • Chu Qing told Di Yu'er and the Phoenix Emperor to cooperate with the experiments and find a way to carry a living person into the future.

Ch. 1602The Forbidden Zone Overlord's Recruitment

Di Yu'er and Phoenix Emperor tested a way to carry objects through the sea of consciousness, while Chu Qing met the Mutated Overlord to discuss cooperation against Heaven. The Mutated Overlord demanded treasures in exchange for an alliance, but Chu Qing rejected the offer and declared the Forbidden Zones his enemy.

  • Chu Qing proposed that aliens shape gems into a box Di Yu'er could store in her sea of consciousness, and the test succeeded but strained her consciousness.
  • Mingyue refused Di Yu'er's offer to seek help from the Di Kun Family's Old Ancestors and told Di Yu'er and Phoenix Emperor to strengthen their spiritual power instead.
  • Chu Qing met the Mutated Overlord beside a Platinum Fire Pit and discussed the darkness, Heaven, the Heavenly God, and the ancient Harvesters.
  • The Mutated Overlord offered Chu Qing protected territory and help against Heaven in exchange for the box from the Third Limit Martial Ancestor and a rare treasure.
  • Chu Qing refused to cooperate, citing the Forbidden Zones' past attempts to kill him and saying he did not need their help to kill Heaven.

Ch. 1603King of the Forbidden Zone

Chu Qing tortured the Mutated Overlord’s incarnation in the Fire Pit and rejected the Forbidden Zone’s attempt to negotiate. The King decided the Forbidden Zone had to persuade Chu Qing, while weighing whether to offer him the box and rare treasure needed for their fight against Heaven.

  • Chu Qing shoved the Mutated Overlord’s possessed immortal into the Fire Pit and declared he could kill overlords without Liuli’s killing move.
  • The Mutated Overlord reported Chu Qing’s refusal to negotiate, and the King ordered him to return with more courteous words and better terms.
  • The Mutated Overlord proposed that the King help kill Chu Qing and then destroy Qingzhou, but the King warned that Heaven would exploit the danger of his acting.
  • The overlords admitted they could not withstand Heaven’s strongest attack, leaving persuasion as their only option for securing Chu Qing’s cooperation.
  • The King recalled that Chu Qing’s help could tip the balance against Heaven and considered giving up the rare treasure, though he still wanted the box and its secret.

Ch. 1604The Danger Facing the Outsiders?

Chu Qing focused on strengthening Qingzhou and himself as the Outsiders sensed an unseen danger approaching. The chapter ended with a top-tier Outsider asking Chu Qing for help despite being unable to identify the threat.

  • Chu Qing decided to make Qingzhou stronger by relocating populations from other continents, and Madam Shi told him Qingyu was already handling the matter.
  • Madam Jin explained that populations were being transported to Qingzhou, where Golden Cores strengthened the land and helped Qingzhou expand.
  • Chu Qing continued guarding and cultivating the forty-nine supernatural strange treasures while Heaven and the Harvesters remained quiet for half a year.
  • The Princess Consort, Madam Jin, Consort Mei Zuo Yan, and other Outsiders sensed an approaching danger they could not detect.
  • A top-tier Outsider summoned Chu Qing and asked for help, but Chu Qing pointed out that he could not fight an enemy they had not found.

Ch. 1605Madam Shi's Creation

Chu Qing sent Emperor Kun to investigate the Great Terror sensed from the ocean, and Emperor Kun discovered violent, red-eyed sea beasts in a deep trench. Chu Qing and Madam Shi arrived to investigate, where Madam Shi demonstrated a powerful life-form she had created.

  • Chu Qing ordered the ocean demons to search for abnormalities, and Emperor Kun ventured into a dangerous trench to obey him.
  • Emperor Kun found giant sea beasts with scarlet eyes slaughtering one another without eating their victims, then sent Chu Qing his report and coordinates.
  • Chu Qing recognized the red-eyed sea beasts from the darkness and contacted Madam Shi to investigate with him.
  • Madam Shi created an Innate God and Demon from her voice, and it tore apart a sea beast and grew by consuming it.
  • Madam Shi explained that her creation was an independent life-form, developed from techniques she had studied, and suitable as cannon fodder.

Ch. 1606Here to Solve the Problem

Chu Qing and Madam Shi followed Emperor Kun into a deeper trench, where they found sea beasts rapidly changing under the influence of darkness. Madam Shi tested whether her Golden Core Dao Fruit could cleanse them, and the two continued toward the darkness’s source.

  • Chu Qing learned that Madam Shi could create commanded Innate Gods and Demons, but she chose to wait before making more until she tested their resistance to darkness.
  • Chu Qing and Madam Shi descended farther into the trench and found Emperor Kun at the entrance to a smaller ravine filled with fleeing, red-eyed sea beasts.
  • Chu Qing ordered Emperor Kun to leave the region, and Emperor Kun obeyed before transforming into a Great Peng and flying toward Stone Ridge Mountain.
  • Chu Qing and Madam Shi entered the ravine and found dark-tainted sea beasts hunting, growing, and reproducing rapidly.
  • Madam Shi released her Golden Core Dao Fruit over the sea beasts; it killed some, while less contaminated beasts recovered and fled.
  • Chu Qing and Madam Shi set out to find the source of the darkness.

Ch. 1607The Green Hand Descends Upon Reality

Chu Qing and Madam Shi discovered a vast Green Hand spreading darkness through the sea and fought it with divine abilities, chains, and Golden Core Dao Fruits. As the hand regenerated and resisted the growing force of the maids’ Dao Fruits, Chu Qing called for outsiders to be teleported in to attack it.

  • Madam Shi summoned a maid whose twelve-colored Golden Core Dao Fruit proved capable of resisting the darkness, confirming their strategy.
  • Chu Qing and Madam Shi descended through the trenches and found a gigantic Green Hand that claimed it had crossed history under the Dark Covenant to kill everyone who cultivated the Dao Fruit system.
  • Madam Shi and Chu Qing unleashed their Golden Core Dao Fruits and attacks, while chains also suppressed the hand, but it kept regenerating and reaching for them.
  • Chu Qing ordered Madam Shi to summon the maids cultivating Golden Core Dao Fruits, and groups of maids arrived to suppress the hand, though they struggled to hold it back.
  • Chu Qing decided to teleport outsiders to the battlefield, reasoning that they could harm the Green Hand just as it had brought danger to them.

Ch. 1608Imitation Chains

Chu Qing coordinated the extraordinary beings’ exotic treasures and Golden Core Dao Fruits to suppress the enormous Green Hand. As the Green Hand continued to threaten them, he ordered the Top Experts to forge his divine ability exotic treasure and imitate the mysterious chains to help trap it.

  • Chu Qing contacted the Qingzhou Top Experts and arranged for extraordinary beings to send their exotic treasures to attack the Green Hand.
  • Exotic treasures descended on the Green Hand, and Madam Shi directed Golden Core Dao Fruits to help the intact treasures suppress it.
  • Chu Qing ordered the attackers to divide the Green Hand into regions and concentrate their strikes, while extraordinary beings across the starry sky sent millions of exotic treasures against it.
  • The Top Experts discussed the Green Hand’s origins and the danger of the body behind it, then asked Chu Qing what to do.
  • Chu Qing told them to prioritize forging his divine ability exotic treasure and to imitate the mysterious chains so they could trap the Green Hand.

Ch. 1609You Will Regret This

Madam Shi, Chu Qing, and the others strengthened their chains and steadily suppressed the Green Hand while attacking it with divine abilities, Dao Fruits, and flesh-devouring creatures. The Green Hand warned that cultivating Dao Fruits would bring harsher darkness, but Chu Qing and the others rejected its concern and continued their assault.

  • Madam Shi combined newly forged chains with the void chains, doubling their power, while the Green Hand fought back and threatened the starry sky with extinction.
  • Chu Qing unleashed forty-nine divine abilities against the Green Hand as Madam Shi and the others reinforced their attacks with strange treasures, Golden Core Dao Fruits, and more chains.
  • Madam Shi ordered the cultivators to hold their gains, sent Innate Gods and Demons to devour the Green Hand, and brought Tang Wuming, Sima Zhao, and others to build wild Gods and Devils nests.
  • After several days of steady attacks, the Green Hand stopped struggling and warned that cultivating Dao Fruits would make darkness destroy them faster.
  • Chu Qing and the others dismissed the Green Hand's warning and said they cared only about their own survival, prompting the Green Hand to renew its struggle and vow to save them.

Ch. 1610You Aliens Must Prepare as Well

After the Green Hand was sealed, Chu Qing argued that its master would eventually attack and that everyone beneath the starry sky had to unite to face it. The aliens agreed to prepare for the coming war, while Chu Qing planned to settle the Dao Lineage Dispute and gather all available strength.

  • The Green Hand lost its ability to struggle and was sealed by extraordinary treasures, but Madam Shi worried that it would revive.
  • Chu Qing proposed weakening the hand with Golden Altar Dao Fruits, finding its true body, and attacking it before it brought darkness to them.
  • Madam Shi called for humanity and the aliens to unite and asked them to help settle the Dao Lineage Dispute so everyone could cultivate the Golden Altar Realm.
  • When the aliens resisted joining the dispute, Chu Qing rebuked them and warned that the starry sky was surrounded and they would face the hand's master without united forces.
  • An alien questioned whether interference would weaken the Dao lineage, but Chu Qing argued that killing the Green Hand's master mattered more than its foundation.
  • Chu Qing said he would work with dozens of top-tier organizations and told the aliens to prepare.

Ch. 1611Acting Under Orders

Chu Qing secured the Others’ help to seal the Green Hand and then rallied the top organizations to make the Golden Altar Realm the only mainstream cultivation path. The chapter ended as realm-defying prodigies arrived at resisting sects under Great Lord Qing’s orders to kill those who refused.

  • Chu Qing ordered Madam Shi to forge a stronger seal for the Green Hand, then entered the Square Inch Land.
  • Chu Qing told Myth and the others that the Green Hand’s true body had appeared, and explained that he and the Others had sealed it after a fierce battle.
  • Chu Qing announced that the Others would help promote the Golden Altar Realm and urged everyone to make it the sole mainstream realm.
  • Chu Qing ordered an all-out campaign, and more than thirty top organizations declared that martial artists must cultivate the Golden Core Realm.
  • The Others also demanded that martial artists cultivate the Golden Core Realm, and many ordinary martial artists complied.
  • Some sects formed an alliance to resist, but teleportation beams delivered realm-defying prodigies who ordered them to submit under Great Lord Qing’s command.

Ch. 1612Too Late to Apologize Only After You Can't Win?

Chu Qing’s forces crushed the sects that had allied against him and compelled realm martial artists to cultivate Golden Altars, while the Harvesters lost their followers and began lifting their curses. Chu Qing refused to accept their retreat and ordered the mutants to capture them, beginning a purge of the Harvesters.

  • Hundreds of top experts attacked the allied sects under Chu Qing’s orders, killing their members and enforcing the rule that realm martial artists without Golden Altars would be slain.
  • Many survivors adopted the Golden Altar Realm after discovering its advantages, while only a few geniuses continued pursuing their old paths.
  • As the Harvesters’ paths were purged and their followers disappeared, one Harvester lifted his curse on Chu Qing and swore never to curse him again.
  • Over ten thousand Harvesters voluntarily lifted their curses, but Chu Qing declared that he would still kill them and ordered the top-tier mutants to capture them.
  • The Dao Lineage Dispute and the purge of the Harvesters began as their remaining Realm Ancestors proved too powerful for them to challenge.

Ch. 1613Surrendering to Chu Qing Is Nothing to Be Ashamed Of

Several hundred Harvesters attacked a continent of Golden Core cultivators, hoping to draw out and kill Mingyue, but she summoned a torrent of Golden Cores that crushed nearly all of them. The survivors learned that Chu Qing’s maidservants had defeated the Harvesters and began urging their allies to surrender to him.

  • Several hundred Harvesters launched a brutal surprise attack on a continent devoted to the Golden Core Realm and demanded that its cultivators summon Mingyue.
  • Mingyue appeared through an enormous Golden Core and called forth a torrent of Golden Cores that overwhelmed the Harvesters’ defenses.
  • Mingyue’s Golden Cores killed nearly all the Harvesters within thirty seconds, and the deaths triggered an uproar across the world.
  • People learned that Mingyue had led Chu Qing’s maidservants from Stone Ridge Mountain in Qingzhou to defeat the invading Harvesters.
  • The surviving Harvesters despaired at Chu Qing’s power and urged one another to surrender to him.

Ch. 1614Harvesters Eager to Surrender and Harvesters on the Run

Harvesters debated whether to surrender to Emperor Qing or flee his growing influence as Great Unification advanced. One Harvester used a costly teleportation ritual to escape deep into the Endless Sea, but he froze when he saw where he had arrived.

  • A Harvester urged his companions to surrender to Emperor Qing, warning that the battle of lineages and Great Unification would leave them nowhere to hide.
  • The Harvesters learned that continents were expanding toward one another and that Emperor Qing planned to unite them into the Qingzhou Continent.
  • Some Harvesters decided to seek help from top-tier pioneers, while others fled overseas to wait for Emperor Qing to die.
  • One fleeing Harvester burned treasures, Exotic Flowers and Herbs, his Innate Gods and Demons’ lifespans, and over a thousand human skins to power a long-distance teleportation.
  • The Harvester emerged from the teleportation pillar and went numb at the sight before him.

Ch. 1615The Kings Had Been Away from the Front Lines Too Long; Their Methods Had Grown Crude

A Harvester discovered that darkness sealed off the human world’s oceans, trapping those who tried to flee. As Harvesters sought refuge in the forbidden zones, the Pioneer alliance accused the zones of creating the darkness, and their Kings were blamed for a contingency none of them recognized.

  • A Harvester tried to escape the darkness surrounding the Endless Sea, but after hours of running and failing to break what he thought was Chu Qing’s illusion, he learned that the darkness covered the entire human world.
  • Harvesters who found no way out decided to seek refuge in the forbidden zones, believing them safer than Chu Qing and the darkness.
  • Other Harvesters informed the oldest Pioneers about the darkness, and an ancient Pioneer accused a giant of the forbidden zones of planning to devour the human world.
  • The giant denied creating the darkness, but the Pioneer’s image of it looked like the forbidden zones, prompting the giant to suspect the Kings had acted without their knowledge.
  • The giant contacted the Kings, who denied arranging any contingency, then saw the image and was left dumbfounded.

Ch. 1616Nirvana Path Under Chaos

The Kings struggled to answer the Reapers’ accusation that a Forbidden Zone technique had shrouded the human world, until one King identified the likely culprit as the Nirvana Path. They learned that the Nirvana Path served Chaos and might force them to ally with Heaven or abandon the territory.

  • The giant told This King that the Reapers threatened to break their alliance unless the Kings produced evidence refuting the apparent Forbidden Zone technique.
  • The ancient Reaper gave the Kings an hour to respond, then cut off contact when they failed to provide an explanation.
  • The Kings examined the scene and denied creating the darkness, but could find no evidence to clear themselves.
  • One King recalled that his teacher had warned him about the Nirvana Path, whose techniques resembled those of the Forbidden Zones.
  • The King explained that the Nirvana Path sought to bring all things into nirvana and had submitted to Chaos.
  • The King warned that if the Nirvana Path was responsible, they would have to ally with Heaven or abandon the territory.

Ch. 1617Darkness Devours

The Kings investigated Nirvana Darkness and discovered that it swallowed even their strongest attacks and trapped a King’s thought. As the Kings decided they had to join forces with Heaven, Chu Qing watched a star go dark and feared the darkness would consume the starry sky.

  • The Kings rejected abandoning their territory and traveled to the edge of the Endless Sea to inspect the darkness.
  • The Kings tested the darkness with a killing move made by burning an Immortal One, but the darkness swallowed its power.
  • One King entered the darkness and found his connection to his true body severed as countless faces trapped and attacked his thought.
  • The Kings learned their companion was trapped, sent more killing moves into the darkness, and decided to contact Heaven.
  • At Stone Ridge Mountain, Chu Qing watched a star go dark and wondered whether the darkness could swallow the sun.

Ch. 1618They Were—Ominous

The Forbidden Zone Kings betrayed Heaven by suppressing its heart and teleporting it into the darkness, provoking Heaven to unleash its organs and forces against the invasion. As Heaven’s rampage pushed into the darkness, Ominous figures appeared there.

  • Heaven rejected the Forbidden Zone Kings’ offer to join forces and insisted that the internal conflict mattered more than the darkness.
  • Several Forbidden Zone Kings ambushed Heaven’s heart and used tens of thousands of Space God Demons to teleport it toward the darkness at the end of the Endless Sea.
  • Heaven discovered that its heart had vanished and unleashed its other organs and powers against the Kings and the darkness.
  • Heaven’s transformed body parts and forces attacked the darkness, while a Green Hand fought one of its sinew-dragons.
  • Decayed, red-eyed figures and chained dead beings emerged from the darkness, revealing themselves as Ominous.

Ch. 1619The Little Brat in the Darkness

Heaven fled the darkness after encountering a strange little brat who could live in Nirvana and play with the Ominous. In Qingzhou, Golden Cores replaced the vanished sun briefly, and Madam Jin worried that people needed a lasting replacement for Heaven’s sun and moon.

  • Heaven’s organs fought the Ominous, then fled after seeing lingering thoughts with Golden Core Dao Fruits and a little brat in the darkness.
  • The little brat chased Heaven, seized a red-haired Ominous, and played with it by pounding it with his Golden Core.
  • The forbidden-zone Kings praised the King who had sent his thoughts into the darkness for forcing Heaven to confront it, while Nirvana power secretly infected his thoughts.
  • Bright Moon and others raised their Golden Cores to light Qingzhou after the sun vanished.
  • The sun returned, and Madam Jin worried that the world needed to create a replacement sun and moon.

Ch. 1620The Sun and Moon Problem

Chu Qing investigated when the sun and moon first became abnormal and gathered allies to search ancient records. He then asked Madam Shi to teleport him to the Bi Luo Sect to obtain more materials himself.

  • Chu Qing questioned Madam Jin, Madam Shi, and Nangong about the original sun and moon, and Nangong said the Yellow Dao Twelve Palaces had been founded on them at least fifty eras ago.
  • Cui Moyang noted that records said the great sun had already become an eyeball fifty eras ago, and a female Harvester recalled the sky turning black 365 times before the sun and moon returned to normal.
  • Chu Qing asked the Thousand Eyes Alliance to send its records about the Yellow Dao Twelve Palaces and directed the Square Inch Gathering to search their organizations' archives for sun and moon abnormalities.
  • Bi Luo offered to return to the Bi Luo Sect for records, but Chu Qing said he would go himself; Bi Luo admitted that she and Chu Qing were together.
  • Chu Qing warned that Heaven might flee with his eyes as darkness spread, then asked Madam Shi to teleport him to the Bi Luo Sect's coordinates.
