Several small Demon Seeds were struck by the blinding lightning and instantly turned into wisps of green smoke.
And that was not all. Even the distant Twin Holy Icon reacted visibly to the Heavenly Thunder—it unfurled its enormous wings and continuously fired feathers, using those split-off Lesser Evil Spirits to withstand the falling lightning, as though it did not want the thunderbolts to strike its own body!
A strange thought suddenly surfaced in Fumi's mind.
Could it be that this thunder had not been summoned by the Lesser Evil Spirits?
When he shared this discovery with everyone, their spirits immediately lifted.
More people climbed to their feet and ran to the windows to observe the situation outside.
"Look! That huge Lesser Evil Spirit looks like it can't hold on much longer!"
